i was thinking of running as an independent.... my campaign would revolve around

a) removal of american troops from Iraq (if that is the Iraqi peoples will)
b) less focus on foreign nations and their need for aid and more focus on our own
c) a concentrated plan to find and catch OBL by removing many troops from Afghan and leaving only small elite units to hunt
d) nationalization of health care
e) immigration control

I would also give everyone a stimulus check for 600 per person per family, to offset gas prices...

1. Remove all troops from Iraq, Afghanistan, and anywhere else they are not welcome.

2. Hold open and public conversation with the people of Iran and Russia.

3. Establish a national health care system, single payer, cut out the insurance companies.

4. Legalize and tax both marijuana and prostitution. Use the tax revenue to pay down the debt and to fund women's shelters.

5. Ban abortion beyond the early stages of pregnancy.

6. Set and meet targets for CO2 emission reduction and fund alternative fuels research.

7. Maintain required registration of hand guns.

8. Give full funding to stem cell research.

9. Harvest organs from all corpses in hospitals to be used in other patients, with or without consent of the deceased (am I a monster for this one?)

No problem with that treat it as alcohol but nothing harsher than marijuana

agree but it should go to a state by state vote whether they want to allow this ban

Not as set by Kyoto standards. In order for me to agree to Kyoto India and China has to be held to the same standards.

Can't do this one due to religious reasons(not mine). You infringe on that persons right to freedom of religion.
