Aha I see. Syilla, I do live in Malaysia. And if there is a fatwa saying it is haram, then how come the JAIS didn't do any strong actions about it? Because the amount of Muslim smokers are big here.

just because a lot of people do it, that doesn't make it permissable. no benefit comes with smoking so how can it be halal???
