Is there any idea of bringing the Chat feature back in this forum..with sepaerate Bro rooms and Sista rooms?
 
That will be entirely up to the new owners. I can say that there are some mods that were opposed to the chat rooms, myself being one (maybe the only one)

Sadly, I find chat rooms too easily misused and too difficult to moderate.

But, that is just my opinion. I can not speak for any mods and have no knowledge of the intentions of the new owners.
 
U can have the chat feature and enable it only when a bro mod / sista mod is present for the bro room and sista room respectivelyy... so that they can keep an eye on the chattin.....

But yeah its diffcult to monitor...

If its closed on consensus for Good reasons... Then its fine dont bring that feature back...
 
all in all it is up to the new owners. On one of the forums I had, I used a chat room on it for awhile. But, to be honest I found the free versions were unmanageable and I had no control over the advertising attached to it. The paid versions were ok but I did not find them to be worth the cost.
 
I have an idea on how it would be easier to moderate. Make them password protected. Post the passwords in the male/female sections. That way not just anyone can go in!
 
I had completely forgot about the chatroom. it would be nice if the new management ppl can put one up again.

I'ma have to agree with you...but hey...you'll get used to it soon. :) That's the good thing at least...
 
And when did the new owners come? I had no idea abt this...:?
Why do we have new owners? I am not getting any part of this...can someone explain pliz.

I also agree. We may get used to it but that might take a while.

Beware: Dozens of changes 20 ft ahead.

changes such as the little banner thingy on top and no chatroom...and i'll leave the rest for someone else to say...:p (if there is anymore)
 
The chatroom has been gone for about a year and everybody is just now noticing it is gone?

I am unsure of when the private rooms went away, but the chat room itself has only been gone a few months. It was here when I first got here (was actually the reason why I registered:D ) It would be very nice to have it back cause I miss talking with my sisters!:'(
 
I would like to see a chat room implemented, hopefully the majority of people are peaceful and shouldnt need moderating to heavily anyway?
 
Well said islamirama, the deleting of threads is really annoying especially if they are not bad. (this will one will probably get deleted now!).
