Is this ok dua to make?

Assalamu alaikum,

Before I used to make this dua:

"Ya Allah! Please ensure me a future with house, a future in which that house is my property and a future with a good job"

My dad told me that I dont have right to ask this from Allah to ensure me this. So, does Quran allows even that kind of dua to be made?
