Question: How does Islam see peoples of other religions?
Islam sees peoples of other religions as they are as human as us, we should respect them, appreciate them, deal with them, benefit from them, benefit them and treat them properly, it was narrated that the apostle of Allah (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): (A funeral procession passed him, he stood up, people said: O apostle of Allah, he is a Jewish, he said: Isn’t it a soul?).
Among his most human situations also (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), that he used to forbid killing women, children and old people in wars, he ordered them to kill warriors only, he also forbade them to fire plants, destroy houses or to stain non-Muslims’ hermitages, monasteries and churches, Allah says about all this:
“Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loves those who are just.” Surat Al-Momtahana, Verse 8.
