How many of us often thought saying jazakallah khairan was just a nice Islamic way of saying ''Thank You'', its literally more than that, everytime we say it we are making duah for someone.
When Usayd ibn Hadayr said to the Messenger of Allah (Sallahu alayhi wa salaam): Oh Messenger of Allah (Jazak’allahu khayran) The Messenger (Sallahu alayhi wa salaam) said (Wa Antum Fa Jazakumullahu khayran.. And you too, May Allah reward you too with good)!”
[Albaani has said that the Hadeeth is Saheeh in al-Saheeha 3096, al-Ta'leeqaatul hisaan al Saheeh ibn Hibbaan 6231]
