Hi All,

All my life i have never been jealous of anyone and i have been happy that way!! I mean why would you want to be jealous of a blessing that allah jas bestowed another human with? However, recently i have been feeling this way ( when i see a couple so happily married and loved up) i feel jealous. I am starting to hate myself for feeling this way.... i keep trying to tell myself how can you be jealous? Pray to Allah he must have someone even better than x waiting for you.

I feel so disgusted with myself right now. I feel like a low person.

Im going to distance myself from everyone and pray to Allah that he gives them so much more hapiness and gives me a good spouse to so i dont have to feel jealous.

Does this make me a bad person? Am i bad for thinking like this? I literally feel crap right now. Please please advice me!

Hi All,

Not sure what happened to my post. So writing this again.

All my life i have never been jealous of anyone and why would you be jealous of a blessing that Allah has bestowed upon another human? However, recently i have been feeling jealous of loved up married couples. (Dont worry i feel disgusted in myself for feeling this way) i always remind myself that Allah will give me an amazing spouse one day too IA so i shouldnt think this way but sometimes i cant push the thought out of my head.

I feel so crap for thinking this way and im starting to hate myself.

Am i really bad for thinking this way?

Yes you are..

Most things in the world require a lot of hard work, upkeep, compromise and sacrifice to maintain.

A huge amount of diligence to keep safe and look after.

Although maybe when the time comes, you do not feel this way.. and it all comes naturally to you.

In which case, No you arnt.

...its all in your head.. if you think about it too much you will just become typecast and dissociated from the moment..

Which is rubbish for reading.


Maybe even worry is from the shaitan..

So be good instead, strive for peace in your life.

Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. Work on your self esteem. Jealously usually stems from low self esteem. When you really value yourself, and I mean truly value yourself you won't want to go near what anyone else has because if it hasn't been written for you then it means it's useless for you. And why would you want what's useless for you ? Honestly, it's impossible to be jealous of anyone because if you saw the whole picture of any one individual or their situation, you would find things that would either repulse you or evoke your sympathy and make you grateful for your lot. Which is of course why you have been granted your lot and not anothers.
