joining the canadian military?

assalamuwalaykum

im honestly considering joing the canadian military, i feel it will be a great experience but my only concern is that if they deploy me to afganhistan there maybe a great possiblity i may kill muslims which i am strongly aganist. I really want to be apart of the military adn serve my country but i would rather serve somewhere else other then muslim lands in general. this is my dilema, should i give up my dream in serving my country or should i just give it up?
