Assalamu Alaykum All!
Here are venue and details regarding tomorrow's event. Apologies for the short notice.
The event WILL be on Ummah Radio! (UmmahRadio.com) So you can expect listeners from other forums as well. If you go to the IslamicBoard.com (forum home page), you will see a Radio bar on the top, which gives you various play options. (I personally prefer the UmmahRadio.com link directly...)
This event will take place EVERY Saturday! Tomorrow is our very first.
Right now, here's what is within the schedule.
7 PM GMT is the time. We will start off with three Nasheeds, just to allow the income of listeners.
Followed by those three Nasheed choices, will be an introduction by me. Not too keen, but I have to host sometime or another, so I'll begin practicing tomorrow.
Then will be a 5-10 minute lecture by Environmental specialist, Br. Karim Hakim! There will be a Q&A session right after. You may post questions on a thread that will be provided to you.
Thereafter, we will try to accomodate a few games, one for sure. There are prizes, Alhamdulillah! Special sponsor. Being our first radio show, I'll hand out 2-4 prizes. Nothing big... So don't expect an mp3 or anything.
That's the rough plan we have currently.
Alhamdulillah we got a banner. Does anyone know how we can record this through a PC? Something simple cut...
