Assalamu Alaykum,

Sadly, we live our lives confused, not knowing why certain things happen, and not sure why sometimes we feel we are always being tested without reason. This is when the knowledge of Al-Qadr (Predestination) is so important for us Muslims to understand - so when things do go wrong, or even go great - we know that things were predestined by Allah, and that what is meant to occur nothing can stop it, and what was not meant to - can never happen, without the permission of Allah.
