Salaams all, today, my mum asked me to find out whether or not a muslim brother/sister can be buried on Eid-ul-Fitr...i tried searching on the internet but i have not managed to find anything that really helps! i would really appreciate any insight on the matter... Jazakallah hu khair! Farah x

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that we shoudl hasten the burial of the dead and since there is nothing in the Quran or in the Hadith that proves we cannot bury the dead on the day of the Eid, I think it is ok to bury a brother/sister on Eid Al-fitr.
