Summary from my POV: Khalid Yasin says that Malcolm X isn't any1 special but because he followed the teachings of Islam after he accepted Islam 3 months before his death it made a change in him. Any1 could be like Malcolm X if we learn to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah. You do not have to be really religious if you can't, just do good and what you're good and strive and struggle for the sake of Allah

i disagree. Malcolm could speak. he spoke well. he was a threat, so he was killed. i think he was a big influence on brother Khalid, who met him after he returned from Hajj. (or saw him. i forget, but have heard the story a few times.) i think that Malcolm's outspokenness encouraged Khalid to become a speaker, but that is just a personal opinion. how many of us make others desire to do more?

:wa: Bro it was a summary of what I deduced from watching the lecture, not what I necessarily think about Malcolm X :)

my apologies! i misread what you wrote. i didn't watch the vid because i've already seen it and found to be disappointing. Brother Khalid lives near here and i've heard him talk about Malcolm a lot.

please accept my apologies.
