Khutbahs-Please translate!

Oooh it's an audio file!! :eek:

Mmm.....that's gonna be much more tiresome to translate than if it was written out..I'll probably have to write out the whole thing on a piece of paper in Arabic then translate it from there.

Allahu A3lam, I'll see if I can try to do some tomorrow Insha'allah. Are they very long?

:) Audio is about 18-20 mins....

Don't worry, after Ramadhan finished I'll put it into text form (will have a million and 1 mistakes) so just wait upo inshallah...

maybe giv it to one of the sisters to fix it up before putting it up inshaAllah. i really wanna understand it :D
 
The link is'nt working anymore Brother? I was looking to start translating the khutbah today but it's not working anymore........

It's working for me. Don't worry sister, I'll write it out, all you have to do is correct my arabic mistakes and translate :)

yeah..I will do it in a bit....It's a big job lol

I just worked out a bit of it:

Abu Bakr said, "O Messenger of Allah, verily your hair has turned gray.'' The Prophet replied: Surahs Hud, Al-Waqi`ah, Al-Mursalat, `Amma Yatasa'lun and Idhash-Shamsu Kuwwirat have turned my hair gray.

I am not surprised why this was such a :cry: khutbah...

lol yes lets get the man who doesnt know arabic to help.


naa im still tryin to learn arabic, ive resorted to using crappy rosetta stone, it duznt even help much :grumbling

lol i work 9-5 wiv 6 hours of college + assignments per week so i can only study from home :(
