late sehri?

If sehri is at 4.00 and i eat something at 4.01 is my fast still valid.
Is the sehri just a guide or does it have to be dead on?

^ i stopped sehri yesterday at 4:20 and adhan went off around 4:30, my masjid stops around 4:45ish and others 4:50.

to be honest its just till fajr right? so i would say your definitly ok (im guessing your in the UK vicinity?)
