Does anyone know who is the translator who rendered the English wording "He does not produce a child and he was not born of anyone" for Ikhlas? I found this translation in many websites that describe how to pray, but none mention the name of the translator.
I find this particular English translation refreshing, because a term like "to beget" is no longer used in everyday spoken English and only has the effect of obscuring the message for a modern young audience. Hopefully there is an entire Qur'an translated by this person and in this style.
