Mujhse har baar wo nazrain chura leta hai "Faraz"
Maine kaghaz par bhi dekhi hain banaa kar aankhain uski

Everytime he looks away from me "Faraz" [the person's name who's writing the poem]
 I have drawn his eyes on paper and still he does the same thing

Aaj uske tassawur ka alam kuch iss tarha tha "Faraz"
Ke neend aayi to aankhon ne bura maan liya

Today the thought of his condition was such
That when I wanted to sleep, my eyes found it ill-mannered of me

Thanks for your nice comment(!) SubhaanAllaah if you don't have anything good to comment, then please don't.
You have to understand Urdu poetry in order to get the deep meaning behind them.

stop letting your emotions take over your mind body and soul


if you analyse my previous comment you'd see that all i did was analyse the poem and interpret it myself, it seems like the woman is clutching onto mysery when she has every power to let it go.

this is my analysis and i have every right to it
