[h=5]Love in Islam is all-encompassing, comprehensive and sublime, rather than being restricted to one form only, which is love between a man and a woman. Rather, there are more comprehensive, wider and sublime meanings. There is love for Allah The Almighty, the Messenger of Allah,

, the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and the love of good and righteous people. There is love of the religion of Islam, upholding it and making it victorious and the love of martyrdom for the sake of Allah The Almighty as well as other forms of love. Consequently, it is wrong and dangerous to restrict the broad meaning of love to this type of love only.

Marriage is the best option if you love someone

Just be careful there's some empathy, goodwill and pragmatism there too, since love can sometimes be a selfish high that wears off quick and leaves deep wounds and can turn to hate.
Being blindly besotted and seriously wanting to settle down with clarity of mind are quite at odds.

You cannot control your feelings. You can control the actions which result from those feelings.

If you fall in love with someone, then that is not a sin. If you begin to act on that love without getting married, that is a sin.

When you fall in love with someone it is best to marry them. The following hadith is evidence that you can fall in love before marriage.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “We do not think that there is anything better for those who love one another than marriage.” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 1847; classed as saheeh by al-Busayri and by Shaykh al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 624)
