I am a new member of this forum and would like to share my thoughts on some topics.

What do you think of Mortgage? is it halal ? why all Muslims people in Uk i have seen having their house mortgage ? even knowing bank will be taking huge interest on the repayments? still they want to live in this life with major sins and they called it we are Muslim Alhumdullilah that is Monafik?

Interest is a major sin in Islam and a declaration of war with Allah and His Messenger. The fact that many people are involved in it does not make it right.

Only if there is no option to rent or to finance a home Islamically should a person consider this. And once involved, he should try to get out of the situation as fast as possible.
