to what extend should the muslim make in regrds to making excusing his brothers and sisters in islam. for example, if i were to hear one cursing the prophet (salalahu aleyhi wa salam), and he/she was unaware of the ruling, should i just say 'oh, its okay, they dont know' (keeping in min that regarding the kuffaar as muslims is an invalidator of ones imaam). or should i get on the defense and say something. which makes me further wonder, what does when do when they hear /see something similar to this. should one immeditaley become defense, or should one first warn, etc.
