Mappy Mosque is a fun, free and HTML5 based (i.e. playable on all mobiles) Islamic Web App recently released.

We may recognise a mosque from its picture but do we know where in the world the Mosque is actually located?

The user is shown 5 images of mosques which they then have to locate on a Google Map which has been customised for our app. The closer you are to the correct location, the higher your score!

It is a fun and engaging app that will test and Insh'Allah increase knowledge about mosques around the world.

Finally there is an option to suggest your own local mosque to our ever expanding game database!

Just played it, really easy to use and interactive. Perfect for children to learn :).

Do you know if they made anything similar like the above? A game like that for Islamic knowledge would be great.

The most popular is Islamic Quiz & Games for iOS, which has an Islamic Quiz, puzzles, spot the differences, matching pairs and bonus games as well - over 40 games in all! We are currently building this for Android devices.

For Android, you can get the Islamic World Quiz, Mosque Puzzles, Islamic Art Puzzles and matching pairs as well as separate apps.

All of these are completely free to download and have no in-apps at all.
