What exactly is the Maqaman Mahmooda (praiseworthy station) that will be given to the Messenger of Allaah :saws:?
According to one of the tabi'een known as Mujaahid, he claimed that the Maqaman Mahmooda is that the Messenger of Allaah :saws: will be taken up to the Arsh of Allaah and will sit next to Allaah upon the Arsh on the Yawm ul Qiyamah.
Imaam at Tabaree, however, strongly disagreed with this belief and his house was stoned by some of the Hanbalees who believed in it.
