A few days back, I gave a begger some money (very few amount) with the intention in my mind that I'm giving it from my calculated zakat. However, someone told me that distributing zakat should be large in amount and small amounts will be considered as normal sadqa.
Just wondering, is there any minimum amount that needs to be paid to be considered as zakat?
