miswak - need help

well basically i tend to have these little black things on my miswak which doesnt look right, so i thought maybe because i keep it wet too often to i thought let me keep it dry so i did, but it still occurs but less than before, does anyone kow how i can prevent this from hapening?

Why not leave it dry, but let it stay in the fresh air? Most of the time they might turn bad if they stay too soggy/moist - or if they don't have enough fresh air.
