Sis, I provided the answer above. I understand what you are saying, and it is not kufr given the context and the situation.

See above. I also provided this material in their website, however I do not agree on labelling their site full of hatred. It maybe their is some error's or they are quite hard on this deviant groups, but mostly their criticism are valid.

Jazakumullah Khair. Brother, i read your post after i had posted mine. My post was specifically directed at brother Fi_Sabilillah.

I think we should all first relax IF we are not, then speak insha'Allah, although I do have differences maybe in some ways I think that this should be helpful for all of us, from the website:

Clarification on our article ‘Is Islam a religion of peace ?’

We have received much criticism for our article ‘Is Islam a religion of peace?’ so we would like to clarify the matter, and our intent. When we say Islam is not a religion of peace, we mean it is not the same ‘peace’ that the moderates call for. As we said, we are commanded to fight till Islam dominates, and this is done ONLY for the sake of Allah (SWT), and to bring the people to Islam. We do not fight for land, money, or anything of that sort. As we see in history, after Islam dominated (usually through combat) a region, peace flourished, as did medicine, mathematics, etc…

So in that sense, yes Islam does BRING peace. Also, when the non-Muslims pay Jizyah tax, that means they are under our security, and will be fully protected. As Sayyid Qutb explains in his book ‘Milestones’, Islam seeks to destroy the barrier between people and Islam (i.e the tribal leader, government, etc…).

Again, we emphasize that we mean Islam is not peace in the same way that moderates define it (and keep in mind this site is called ‘Moderates Refuted’), and we believe that through Qital (fighting), and implementing Sharee’ah law, peace will avail.

''We believe that through Qital (fighting)... peace will avail.''

Islam was not spread by the sword in the days of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). SubhanAllah, the true intention of the site makers has been unveiled.

Maybe it is time for the 'moderates' (thanks to the misrepresented labelling) to open a site refuting 'Moderates refuted.'

If they can't even get the BASICS correct, there is little chance for constructive dialogue to ensue. More people will just walk away feeling that Islam is a religion of hate and terrorism. SubhanAllah, great constructive Dawah tactics, Umm Talha & Co.

Sis, one need to look into some scholarly work into that and I admit it needs clarification on what context they mean by it.

I admit, that the Title may be confusing, as I have discussed the matter, the use of the word moderate, with woodrow before (see earlier post).

We should not be to hasty in Judging them too hastily, as their intention are not bad, just the site needs some clarification and in a more wise manner.

I've read a lot of what Umm Talha and her husband has to say on another forum. I don't doubt that they sincerely believe in what they are saying, but that doesn't make them right. In their haste to make their point and profress their love for Islam and Prophet Muhammed(peace be upon him) they have convienantly overlooked the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him).

May Allah guide us and protect us all.
