one of my cousin suffered this disease pork tape worm http://www.islamicboard.com/members...nd-1577-and-1575-and-1604-and-1582--8356.htmlhad entered to his brain and was suffering from pain and he ignored.But when it reached intolerable point ,he consulted to doctor and it was pork tape worm.Doctors were shocked as it rare disease,also locality where he is staying free from pig from,he has not even seen pig in his locality.It took nearly 1 year to recover from disease.
 
Takes quite a long time indeed and is prevalent in some areas more than others. Some people may never be cured if it hooks to an area like the ventricles you can't perform surgery there to remove it and it doesn't respond to drugs. Can cause anything from blindness to coma to death depending on where they lodge. A3ooth billah!
