Sheikh Farooq Hadrawi, muaddhin of Masjid ul Haraam passed away this morning. Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon. His tahajjud adhaan was the most beautiful adhaan ever. May Allah grant him maghfirah and jannat ul firdous and may his calling out the adhaan be sadaqatul jaariyah for him in respect of every single person that came to pray when he said hayya alal salaah, ameen.
Apparently the news is not confirmed. It must be a rumour.
He was undergoing treatment. I hope he is still alive and recovering. If that is the case then may Allah :swt: grant him quick and complete recovery.
