I have heard that there are good muslim counsellors and groups that you can call to get help if you need it. Maybe in this thread we can help each other by writing down the names of counsellors/couselling groups, whether they are male/female, phone number, country, etc.

This may help those who are going through tough times, inshallah.

Note: they have to be counsellors who give advice according to Islamic principles.

I think you can call 1800 NASEEHA.
(naseeha = 'advice') But I am not sure whether that is Canada or US. You can try them out? Inshallah.

There is a counsellor that comes on Islam channel TV. I think you can email the channel and ask then. The counsellor's show is 'Journey To....' I cant remember the rest. The counsellor has a practice.

If you'r in South Africa, there's The islamic helpline in Lenasia, and the islamic careline in Mayfair. Both these institutes are run by muslim ladies, and offer all types of counselling. If anyone needs their numbers, you can pm me and I'll search for it.

Oh and the counselling is free.
