I was recently invited to a group on facebook, it was called "STOP ISLAMIC MARCH IN WOOTON BASSET"

For those who don't live in the UK, I'll try my best to explain this.

Wooten Basset is a town in the UK where dead soldiers who have been in Afghanistan are driven through the streets and people pay respect to them.

As far as I know, a group of muslims wish to walk through the streets of this town to remember innocent muslim men, women and children who have been killed as a result of the war. At first I was disgusted when i saw this group, i read some of the posts of people where people were calling muslims terrorists blah, blah, and that they should go back to their own country, the march is a disgrace to the UK. I posted a message saying that they knew nothing about the religon, and if anything was a disgrace to the UK it was racists. I'm sure this wasn't a mature or holy thing to do, but we all say things when we are angry.

It was then i began thinking about terrorism and Islam. I live in the UK and i am exposed to all the lies in the media. I know they are lies, because i have been told they are lies. However, this is the only reason I know, therefor I need help understanding terrorism linked with Islam, it is the only single thing that tests my faith and it upsets me that it tests it. Does anyone have any links of lectures, websites or any simple knowledge about why some muslims are terrorists, ect.

Thankyou so much to those brothers and sisters who can offer me their knowledge.

Largely the concerns don't seem to be about Muslims speaking out for the innocent people killed in Afghanistan, but about the way the march has been planned.
Some people feel that marching in Wootton Bassett, which is known for remembering the British soldiers who have died in Afghanistan, may be insensitive to their families.
