i only memorized like the first 20 or so verses so i don't know that verse. however, there are books that have interpretations. i'll see if i can find the meaning of that verse, but i'll need to know what the verse number is.

Translation:

And the(word) share (حظ) not (the word) persuade (حض) to feed
And regarding (the word) ‘ضنين’ the difference is famous

1st part of couplet

This couplet is referring to one of the words which has ظ in it. The word is حظ (which means share or portion) it has been used in the Quran in several places with various derivatives.
e.g.
يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الْآخِرَةِ
Allah intends not to spare for them any share in the Hereafter.

This word must be distinguished from حض which is similar except that it has a ض rather than a ظ.
The word حض (which means to persuade) appears (in this form or other) in the Quran in 3 places.
e.g.
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
and does not persuade (others) to feed the needy.
(107 Maa’un verse 3)

Note: The words of the couplet: ‘persuade to food’ indicates to the verses which have the word حض in there i.e. these verses refer to the Kuffaar of Makkah not persuading others to feed the poor.

2nd part of the couplet

This refers to a verse in the Quran:

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ
And he (the Prophet) is not stingy about (the news of) the unseen.
(81 –Takweer /verse 24)

This verse has been recited in 2 ways according to the famous scholars of recitation:

1. With ‘ظ’ - ظنين which means .........’suspected’
2. With ‘ض’ – ضنين which means ......‘stingy’

The recitation that we have in the recitation of A’asim is with ض.
