Does anyone know of any emerging networking technology that doesn't cost much to buy and implement? I decided for my final year project I will create a network incorporating everything I learnt in CCNA-1-4 but my teacher said this will only give me around 50-60% and if I really want to bump my mark up I should include something new in it, that hasn't been done before, I said I will incorporate VOIP in the network too, and he said someone done that last year, so is there anything new out in networking that I could implement in a lab environment? any ideas would be great, I don't mind buying the equipment.
