I agree with bro Ubaid. A lot of urdu nasheeds/naats contain shirk. Na udhu billah. Most pakistanis follow deviant sufi beliefs which is reflected in their praise of Allah in songs, naats and poems. I feel they praise the Prophet (saw) more than they praise Allah :hmm:
Barak Allah feeki wa fe ukht insane inssaan , yes its sad n very unfortunate how shaytan beautified these things to them n made them look good, how he was able to wrap up shirk n kufr with Love of the Prophet al around it, may Allah save us. So on one hand shaytaan was able to take people to shirk n kufr while taking others to sins like beautifying fo rthem nasheeds with music or instruments n all or even voices that could put a person in fitnah. The scholars have spoken about it one should see the opinions of the scholars in this matter , the nasheeds of our time are in no way like the qaseedahs n poems of the old times the first three generations where scholars would sum up the aqeeedah in a poem in a beautiful way , like we see the al haayiyah poem of ibn abi dawood the son of imam abi dawood, and like manzuma of al qairawani or like the poem of al qahtani , and ibn al qayyim n all, and they were never recited in ways that our nasheed artists sing now a days . SubhanaAllah , what does a nasheed artist know about tawheed if he is singing or reciting qaseedah burdah? clearly people do not have their priorities straight nor do they know about shirk n tawheed.
n even in this thread, with the translation as u see, "The one whose reign is over both worlds" or the one who rules both worlds" i dont think its very appropriate , tye Prophet sala lahu alihi wa salam is a rahma mercy for jinns n mankind , n yes He sala lahu alihi wa sallam will do shafaa for his ummah when not even any other messenger or prophet will be able to do anything , but subhanAllah we cannot say that He sala lahu alihi wa sallam rules over both worlds, This is where a common person will go and actually end up asking the Prophet sala lahu alihi wa sallam to forgive him or have mercy on him or to help him or to make his affairs easy or to even ask him fo rhis shafa'ah , while we should ask this all from Allah, and this is where people go an think He sala lahu alihi wa sallam owns the treasures of this world n the next , subhanALLah this si shirk to me and Alah knows best
May Allah bless u all.
And well in afghanistan they speak quiet a few languages , but an afghani will be able to understand farsi as well as pushtu , i think thei rlanguage is a mix of both , i speak pashtu so at times i do get a lil bit of farsi , but yes they are pretty different though , i mean pashtu n farsi.
