New Masjid in Sydney, donations appreciated.

Ive been helping out with this etc. I live in Auburn/regents park so its gna be awesome for me...but what i dnt get is why we are signing petitions if it is already council approved?
 
Maybe they are trying to raise funds rather then sign petitions of support,

mmm I dunno :P

Looks an awsome building anyway :)

It's on a few forums, however the more you spread the word the better inshallah!

The petitions being signed are not for the new Mosque being built.

The petitions being signed are for Omar Mosque in Auburn, they want to expand their mosque but locals have complained (that's why they need a petition).
 
This is a amazing work. but there is a problem in the masjid building...
no one can catch this is a masjid.. anyway ill ask dua for urs gud work that the thing i can do. maasha allah.
 
The donation tin for the Auburn/regents park mosque at my workplace was full but unfortunately it was stolen a few days before one of my co-workers could take it home. It was upsetting. It really bothers me to see a fellow muslim do such a thing.

IDCA will be holding a fundraising auction to raise the final funds needed for the land which has been approved by the local council for a masjid.



Some items include: Audi Q7 Quattro, Scenic tour flights of Sydney, trip for 2 to Malaysia, Mac Book pro, Spa Bath, Umrah Trip (5 star hotel), sky diving for 2, pony saddled up, recite the first athan (upon opening of the masjid), 10 leather lounges and much more.
