How much money did we own this year for which zakat became farz on us .

I want to know it coverted and know in dollar prices ? (I know it in gold/sliver)

I've closed this thread because I don't want people to throw opinions around. Other moderators however are welcome to post in this thread.

The nisaab for zakah on gold is 84 grams of gold. You need to find out from your country how much 84 grams of gold are in dollars, you should be able to find this information from your local jewellers. Once you find out how much 84 grams of gold are in dollars you need to calculate how much of that equals the nisaab, that will be the zakah.
