:sl: yes, i know it's sadimsad, but I just don't know hot to make friends. I have had this problem as long as i know. I CAN NOT socialize, I just don't know how. I am trying to make some friends here on this forum, anyone interested??0 ( I'm kinda desperatehe) we can use email or pm, or anything , I just want to make friends. Sisters are preferred.

PS ( My english is not perfect, because i speak 4 languages badly (can you believe that?!)

Can you identify exactly what prevents you from being able to socialise? Do you have a problem talking to people? Do you fear being judged? What is it exactly? It doesn't matter if you don't know.

I am not just your friend but your sister. PM me when ever you feel like.
I would tell you to fear Allah. I know how is it in school, especially if you're in middle school. Do not worry on how you appear to others.

If you're lonely, do not care that others will think of you as a "loser".

If you take some of them(kuffars) as friends, then you fear them more than Allah which is SHIRK.

If there are good Muslims then they would definitely take you as friends. If there aren't Muslims just be polite with them and that is all. Please do not take them as friends. You are a friend of Allah. You think about Him, His beautiful names. Kaffirs are friends of the shaytan. If you engage into their friendship, you are with a bunch of shaytans. Allah in the Qur'an tells us to stay away from the tagut.

The internet if used excessively is a great way to lose your social life. You don't want "internet friends," as that's just crap. Get yourself out and do something that interests you such as karate, canoeing or even volunteering to improve your community. Start talking to people, smile and you'll make plenty of friends. I got my friends from work and attending to games of my local non-league football team.
 
Dont worry sister.. You will find many friends on this forum InshaAllah. and you will learn how to socialise slowly son't worry .

yes socialising is very important part of life.Internet is never a substitute of real friends .. go out and make some hobby , friends will follow
 
If you have just one friend that sticks by you, your whole life, you've had more friends than most.

i've been a loner my whole life, but guess what? i love it that way ..i dont know, im just happy like that. its not always bad if you dont have friends, but i do strongly encourage that you try to make friends, even if a couple. too many people=too many headaches imo

if you find it difficult to socialize, the best way to get to know people/make friends, is to find someone who is really talkative so that they are they ones talking and keeping the conversation going and mostly all you have to do is just listen lol.

with situations like this, there is real no cure, except to take the bull by the horns, so to speak, and just get out there and socialize!

internet friends can be good, but it is also essential to make offline friends as socailizing on the net is way different from socalizing online.
 
i am shy by nature but my friends do all the talking mostly they are very talkative but when i was working amongest non muslims i was the only practicing muslim girl there and i was a bit of a loner sometimes they would ask me to come sit with them in the canteen but they would be talking bout boys and clubbing so i said aaah i don't want to be around people like that. i fear Allah more so i didn't care what they thought of me at all and i know they talked on my back but i didnt care:statisfie you have Allah and you don't care about anybody else and what they think so i got a taste of being a loner but you know what your not really alone because you have Allah
 
not everybody is social. its in nature. u cant change it. so why waste time in worrying about it. u can use it in coming closer to Allah by reciting quran, reading islamic books, dawah to ur family, etc.

some one said: one frnd is enough, two is more than enough and three is impossible.
 
Jazakallahughair for all of you. You know ,I admit when I posted that thread i was unthankful for what I had, may Allah (swt) forgive me. Thank you all for your support, I don't feel so lonely anymore. By the way how long does it take for a thread to be posted?

I disagree.
Because we may introverted or shy doesn't mean we can't be social. Brothers and sisters of the Ummah are here for each other. Socializing is important because we HAVE TO support each other during the ups and the downs.

Sometimes, we don't have to talk talk talk all the time. Sometimes, it's just standing right next to that person when they are crying.
Being social isn't being charming, saying the right things, making people laugh...
it's an extension of geniune care for an individual or group of people.
