Noisy neighbours?

What do you do if you have noisy neighbours? I mean... its ok if there are children playing n stuff, but i can't stand it when they play loud music n when they raise their voices real loud when they speak. i don't like to tell them anything coz they might get offended so i often have to close all the windows and put the fan on (coz the weather is still hot here now). so... jus wanted to know ur opinions n what should I do and whether any of you have noisy neighbours and what you do about it. :?

Oh it s terrible init ??well funny I have been a noisy neighbour :-[can u belive it????and the people just asked us 2 keep da noise down which is fair enough.But I have also had noisy neighbours and been 2 shy 2 say anythingimsad
 
Our neighbours have a son who always plays the electric guitar and I can hear it from my room and our other neigbours' daughters always play loud music. What I just do is knock on their door and ask them politely to turn down the music...but we know our neighbours very well which is why I don't mind telling them. If I didn't know them, I wouldn't do it...

^yeah, we used to have a neighbour who used to play a guitar... it was terrible, but Alhamdulillah, he moved out recently. And i do find it difficult to tell my neighbours anything coz i don't know them n i dunno how some of them will take it... i mean some cud be real mean and want to irritate more.
