I have come across this several times and without fail, it always makes me think. So simple and very clear. Thought I'd share it.
Angels have mind but no nafs.
Animals have nafs but no mind.
Humans have both, mind and nafs.
If we can control our nafs, we will be better than the angels,
If we can’t, we are worse than the animals.
