Assalamualaikum Wr wb
I need some advice regarding performing Hajj and visiting Masjid Al Aqsa alone as a woman. My circumstances is quite tricky. I am divorced Islamically yet still separated under Australian Law. Insha Allah, my property settlement will come through soon and I intend to use my portion of profit to perform Hajj. I live alone in Australia and have no relatives who can take me for Hajj.
I have researched that I can go with a group of pious muslim sisters because they too are considered muhrims so I believe I can go with any Hajj providers who have muslim women in their groups.
I have a strong calling in my heart to perform Hajj and also visit masjid Al Aqsa. I just feel this is the right time for me. I am single, I will be debt free soon Insha Allah, I have no dependants, and I can concentrate fully in submitting to Allah SWT without any attachment to worldly affairs eg worry about family you leave behind, so if anything should happen to me Insha Allah I will feel ready to face my Lord.
I would also like to find out the best way to go to Jerusalem, I believe I need to go via Jordan. If anyone has been there, advice and suggestions are much appreciated eg.safety, accommodation etc.
Jazakumullah Khair.
