PHP+MySQL+Apache..?

Im learning PHP .. from http://w3schools.com/php/default.asp

I want to run a sample PHP program..
I have Apache in my sys already... wht should i configur while installin PHP...
.. wr to save the php file in Apache server.. shall i save it directly in webapps?...how to run it..

Clarify me please....

i use IIS n CF insteada php... butttt according to:

http://www.php-mysql-tutorial.com/install-apache-php-mysql.php

u should put it in:

C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/htdocs"

u may also choose to change the location in ur httpd.conf file

Since I've php in my blood .. I think you would better use WAMP .. Its GUI will enable you to run/edit/configure everything you need .. It includes Apache and mySQL

there is open source software on sourceforge.net which will install it on your system fully, or you could use one above posted by Anwarica ^^
