Wow! Thank you a great deal! Can't imagine much has changed bar the actual buildings. Just wanted to ask, where's the sixth picture?

That is picture of Jumrah Aqabah in Mina.
Hajj are obligated to throw pebbles to Jumrah as symbol of throwing pebbles to devil.

Here the picture of Jumrah Aqabah after renovation.

meant to simulate the path of Abraham as he was tested and taunted by Satan while on his way to sacrifice his son.. it is the triumph of Abraham (p) against Satan!

The ritual of symbolic stoning at the Jamarat used to be most accident-prone. To prevent overcrowding and stampedes, they have made that area into three levels. You can now stone from top, middle or the bottom level and it's also air conditioned. :)

My grandad went to hajj on a ship from Pakistan and it took him 9 days.

^wow SubhaanAllaah...
Btw this pics dont like they`ve been taken from 1950s the quality looks new like 1990s or 2000s , or maybe im just mistaken?

I think even in the 50s there were good quality colored cameras too, but not very popular at that time. Besides maybe these pictures are automatically enhanced (recolored). But you can know the period when the pics are taken by looking at the clothes of people, and at the buildings. I think :/

Oh yes you can a little , lol i couldnt tell that much due to the camera quality..But Jazakallahu Khayr
