Not in the least.
The Prophet (pbuh) and all the companions wrote poetry and sang poetry. They loved it. The master of all poetry is the Quran, and it proved to the arabs at the time (who loved poetry and revered it as the greatest art form) that it is Holy since the poetry in it was so exceptional.
