Inspiring and heart warming, just a reminder though - fasting during ramadan does remind us of those who have less to eat and regularly go hungry,
Our intention for fasting is to be for the sake of obeying and pleasing Allah. There are other benefits which include - but are not limited to - increased taqwa, self control, and awareness of Allah's presence, humility, learning and praticing sacrifice of pleasures and needs for the sake of Allah, learning to be grateful to Allah for the food we usually take for granted, learning to give food and resources in times of hunger, increased patience and tolerance regulation on low blood sugar levels, body toxin detox, increased deep mental prowess and seriousness - especially when studying the Quran, adapting and increasing the ability of the body to stay running normally in times of low food availability and intake (body doesn't throw in the towel and go weak in order to preserve energy but learns to regulate different modes), passing on strong immune systems to the next generation ..... if anyone can think of more please add.
