SALAAM,

I was just wondering whether anyone out there knoes anyone or has heard of anyone who got possessed by a jinn or an evil spirit.

If so please could you tell me what happened to that person, whether their facial appearance changed for the worse, whether their voice changed, whether their behaviour got really bad, for instance, violent outbursts, screaming, beating themself up, pulling their hair, torturing themself, banging their head on the wall very hard, as well as attacking family members with knives and throwing bricks at them.

ALSO, please could you tell me who you should get for help if you suspect someone has been possessed?

Should you call a doctor? Someone told me not to as theyd put the person in a mental institute. I personally would not mind this because at least their being kept under stricht watch all day.

PLEASE HELP.

I think you should consult a scholar first - someone who can tell if a person is possessed. If they're not then seek medical help and make duaa for them. May Allah have mercy on them. Ameen. :(
 
The family of the person think it may be a posession as they say that the person has changed so much that it cant be for mediacal reasons.

I dont know the person so i cant really say. But im a bit sceptical and think it would be better to cousult a doctor first. At least a doctor can do something to improve the condition of the person.

does anyone know whether there are experts in this field who, if there was a possession, would be able to get the jinn out?

Also does this kind of thibg exist or is it more to do with a mental breakdown? I think the latter.

Some people Do get possessed by Jins and I myself have known quite a few people who were possessed by Jinns and had to go and have the excorcised.

A person who is possessed by Jinns usually shows a tremendous change when Qur'an is being recited. Their facial expressions change and the voice changes, the eyes may become bloodshot and the person may seem to be experiencing sever seizures.

I recall one time duringst Eid prayer in yemen whilst the Imaam was reciting Qur'aan all of a sudden one of the brothers began to scream and yell for the imaam to stop and he fell to the ground writhing, but the Imaam continued and the man gradually dropped into unconsciousness.

Allahu A3lam but there are also other signs, like for example there was this certain person I knew who was a pious muslim and memorized Qur'an and saheeh Bukhari, however after he was possessed by a Jinn he changed completely and became quite the opposite of a Practising Muslim.

However it's possible also that such a person is experiencing mental disorder, so I would suggest that you check into both possibilities, both with a doctor and an Imaam who is able to excorcise Jinns Insha'allah.

I knew of quite a few people who were possesed my Jinns wallahul musa3aan.. anything with dhikr Allah in it would Irritate and aggitatate them.. some would become violentliy aggresive, while others would start to strangulate themselves..
I witnessed once a sight soo frightful as a child, that minutes later I ended up fainting aswell!!

I don't think consulting a doctor would be of any good wallahu a3lam, they don't understand Jinns and all they call it schizopherania and send the patients to special mental hospitals and treat them with pills that makes them go even more insane .. or just knocks them out cold!!

I think the best thing to do wallaahu a3lam is go to A Scholar or Imaam, or anyone who' really strong in the Qur'aan!!

^ The brother didn't really mention what type of symptoms the person had Princess right :? If the person shows alot of agitation towards Qur'an and such then definitely he is possessed.
However if it's not the case........then Allahu A3lam, check with both the Doctor and the Imaam insha'allah.
 
eeerm yeh i knw ppl who are possed by jins as well...

remeberin allah swt..doin regular ibadah shud help...ma sheikh will prbli knw how 2 deal wit dese things...

sowie i wasnt much help...

^ Hmmm.....I can't remember any markaz now.....but I'm sure that Imaam wont be of any help to the brother now would it :D

I only remember the brother who used to do the excorcism his name was Ma3mar.....short guy with glasses...remember? :? He got Madrood I think

This stuff really scares me a lot..but I have few questions: Even if a person has memorized the Quran and is a pious Muslim, what makes the Jinn possess this certain human if they don't do anything wrong? And, after being possessed, what is the significance of his or her reaction when hearing the Quran (which makes them have these facial expressions or etc)? And if a pious Muslim gets possessed, why does it happen in the first place? Doesn't Allah(SWT) save a pious Muslim from harm?

JAZAKALLAH KHAIRUN BROTHER FOR THE INFO-VERY USEFUL.

FROM THE INFO U PROVIDED, IM SURE THE PERSON HAS BEEN POSSESSED.

FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS, IVE BEEN WITH THE BROTHER OF THE PERSON AND I TOLD HIM THAT IF YOU RECITE THE QURAN DOES THE PERSON GET AGITATED? THE RESPONSE WAS POSITIVE AND ONCE HE TOLD ME THAT THE JINN SPOKE THROUGH THE PERSON BUT THAT IT WAS NOT CLEAR WHAT IT WAS TRYING TO SAY.

THE BROTHER ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE PERSON HAS NIGHTMARES EVERY NIGHT AND HAS CANSTANT FITS IN THEIR SLEEP.

THE FAMILY HAS CALLED SOMEONE WHO SPECIALISES IN EXPRCISING JINNS.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE PERSON.

my friend was possed by a jin
i was the only one with her
she started hitting me hard while i was reciting quran
she was also having violent outburst
then she went unconsicouis (mind my spelling)
just read quran on the person

There was a method of exorcism that the beloved prophet (SAW) used which is the idea of cursing the jinn to get out of the possessed person.It was reported by Abu Dardaa in sahih muslim sharif tha the said the prophet stood up in prayer and heard him say " I seek refuge in Allah from you (shaitan). I curse you by Allah's curse.I curse you by Allah's curse. I curse you by Allah's curse.!!"
