Trading with family member is not haram. But there are certain conditions which we can do trading with family member, there are certain conditions which we should not sell something to family member but must give for free.
If you want to sell your car and your brother interested, you can sell your car to him. But if you have new furniture and you see your brother need furniture, you must give your old furniture to him without asking payment.
