Makkah is the same as Mecca? Just how it is translated in English? and What does Mashallah...mean? I hope it's not a curse word...lol just kidding...do any of you live in Canada? Mecca/Makkah is pronounced exactly how its spelt.

And 'masha Allaah' means (that which Allaah wills.)

Yes same place, just spellt different :brother: its even called Bakkah sometimes! See the Quran Chapter Family of Imran Verse 96.

Mashallah means whatever gods will, whatever allah wishes and it is equivalent to praise the lord. I live in Toronto.
