Quran Word Endings

As Salam Aleykum,

I don't understand something, like, why do words end different, like sultan and then I heard today sultania from someone reciting surah Haqqah. Or like surah Maryan, says Nabiya, how does this differ from nabi?

Is it me or is it a consitant thing? What are the differences? What wisdom do people of knowledge say there behind it?

It is a matter of grammatical issues

sultan means (leader) or (authority,power) or (reason) or (proof)

and (sultania) means (my authority,power)



the difference between Nabia and nabi is easy

they both means the same word ....just if the word (Nabi) occures as object
,requers (fathah) ...(A) sound attached.......as the Arabic grammar tells.

So it does make a difference in understanding, like if I just said, Wa Kana Rasulan Nabi that would make it differnt than if I said Wa Kana Rasulan Nabiya?

for me ...I prefer Wa Kana Rasulan Nabiya
due to the fact that it ends with a normal vowel.....
but (Wa Kana Rasulan Nabi) would end with shaddah (stress),
and easier for my organs of speech to utter the vowel (a) than shaddah (stress)

sorry if what I said is confusing


I tried to show you why from my point of view,and for my own satisfaction ...the adding of a vowel (A) to the end of the word (Nabi) in the verse (Wa Kana Rasulan Nabiya) is a perfect way to ease the organs of speech :in other words

while we read the verse we utter (Rasulan Nabiya) as one word
(Rasulannabiya) we have stress on the (n)
and if we utter it (Rasulannabiy) without the vowel (a) ...there we have 2 stress one on the (n) and another on the(y)...

this is what i meant and this what I feel when I try the verse both ways.....
I prefer the apply of the object rule to the noun(to end with the vowel A)
