I saw this this English version in a Moderator's thread: Al-Qur'an : Guidance for Mankind

Is this a recommended version generally? I want to read an English version that is highly respected and well-used in the English speaking world.

Honestly , I've never read Quran in English ,so I don't have any idea

The most accurate translation is said to be The Qur'an: Arabic text with corresponding English Meanings by Sahih International. It can be read online here but you have to select this translation from the menu on the left-hand side.
