تاب - يتوب - توبة – توباً – متابا He returned. He repented
مَن عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ﴿6:54﴾
if anyone of you does a bad deed out of ignorance and thereafter repents and makes amends, surely you will find Him All-Forgiving, AllCompassionate.'
وَاللّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ(4:27) And Allah indeed wants to turn graciously towards you
وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا﴿25:71﴾
(25:71) In fact, the one *87 who repents and does righteous deeds, returns to Allah as one ightly should
اسم الفاعل – تائب جمع= تائبون - تائبين
One who repents
التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ السَّائِحُونَ الرَّاكِعُونَ السَّاجِدونَ الآمِرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّاهُونَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَالْحَافِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ اللّهِ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿9:112﴾
(9:112Those who turn back to Allah over and over again; *108 those who worship Him, those who sing hymns in His praise, those who move about in the land for His sake, *109 those who bow down and prostrate before Him, those who enjoin virtue and forbid evil and strictly observe the limits prescribed by Allah *110 (are the Believers who make such a bargain with Allah;and O Prophet, give good news to such Believers
اسم المبالغة - توّابIf referred to human being then means one who repents a lot.
If referred to Allah ,then it means one who accepts repentance a lot and forgives
إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ﴿2:222﴾
Most surely Allah loves those people who refrain from evil and keep themselves pure and clean.
فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ﴿2:54﴾
At that time your Creator accepted your repentance because He is Relenting 'and Merciful.

Accept the repentance
وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ﴿2:128﴾
and forbear our shortcomings: You are Forgiving and Merciful.
تاب الى
He repented to ---
وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا﴿25:71﴾
