Admittedly this is blatant advertising of our store. But, Aabidah and I are making and selling Ramadan and Eid baskets this year. We want to offer them here to the members of LI at a slightly reduced price of what we are going to sell them for on our online catalog.

Sadly we can only ship to the lower 48 States in the USA at this time. Perhaps by next year we can go international Inshallah

I have been assured that the Butter flavored popcorn is made with real butter. The Natural flavor has no flavoring added except salt.I get all of the popcorn from the Lower Brue Lakota Sioux Reservation. They do everything natural if possible. But they do add artificial flavoring in their pre-popped Caramel Corn and pre-popped Cheese flavor. I am only going to sell the pre-popped Honey flavor as it is all natural.

I am glad you asked that. I did verify that everything is halal, however it is best to keep out anything with artificial flavoring to remove any chance of error.

Later today I will open some of the popcorn bags and post the full ingredient listings on each item. Also put it on the web site and the online catalogs.

We buy most of our wholesale products from the Native American Reservations. We just bought a quantity of wild rice from the Red Lake Chippewa Nation up by Red Lake in MN. Our honey all comes from only one apiary near the Cheyenne River Lakota Sioux Reservation in SD nearly all of the workers are Lakota Sioux. Aabidah and myself personally bottle the small bottles I resell. and our popcorn comes from the Lower Brule Reservation in SD. I enjoy supporting the reservations not just because Aabidah is Cheyenne, but because it helps make them independent and helps break the cycle of them setting up gambling casinos to support themselves. The Native Americans are very proud and do not want any government aide, they are working hard to be self sufficient.

I will be adding some pure honey and fully natural popcorn to the Ramadan and Eeid listings. I am also negotiating to buy a quantity of Jellies, Jams, Maple Syrup and Berry Syrups from the Chippewa. We are also in the process of setting up the slaughter of Buffalo so they will be slaughtered by a Muslim in a halal manner and I will be able to verify their buffalo products as being halal.

Later we will be traveling to Arizona and New Mexico to buy Pine Nuts (Pinons) from the Hopi and Navajo Nations. Hopefully we will be able to pick up a nice lot of Navajo woolen goods at the same time.The Navajo normally do not slaughter and eat the sheep they raise. They raise them only for the wool they shear off of them every spring. The sheep get to live long happy lives and the Navajo become one of the largest suppliers of wool. Their work is beautiful, it is always geometric designs with no figures. Very suitable for us.

Thought of it, but that was a very short thought. Aabidah is highly allergic to bee stings and can't be near them. Even keeping the hives on rented property miles aware can be a problem if some bees got on or in my clothing and I brought them into the house. Better safe than sorry.

I get to play with Tom's bees and let him have all the work.

Yes, we ship to all of the lower 48 States. The reason we are not shipping beyond that is the cost of shipping is too high and costs more then what the baskets are worth. They are heavy and bulky. I checked some prices and even shipping to Canada would cost at least $25.

Perhaps in time I can find distributors in other countries and bulk ship to them in large quantities, for remailing from there.
