Something Muhammed wrote gave me the idea to start a thread for us to share any charities, which we think may be worth considering as Ramadan charities.
I am bringing Algerian Action, a charity which I have been involved with for a while. It is based in London and run by a British revert Muslimah who is married to an Algerian man.
People can donate money or goods and clothing, and also craft items, which are sold and the money is used for the charity.
Algerian Action supports individuals and families in Algeria directly. Some of the stories can be read in the website.
