Ramadan gift (sorta)

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatallah Wa Barakatu

Hiyakum Allah

Bismillah

This is something I wrote for all of you inshallah to consider during this wonderful month of
Ramadhan:

When Fasting:​

We fast with our tongue-​

Don’t backbite about your brothers.​

​

We fast with our ears- ​

Don’t eavesdrop on people's conversations without their knowledge or stand to hear someone being ridiculed.​

​

We fast with our stomach-​

Don’t eat when others are going hungry, except the time Allah has prescribed for you to break your fast.​

​

We fast with our hearts-​

Don’t hold grudges or hate your practicing brothers.​

​

We fast with our noses-​

Keep away from desiring scents that will keep you from the gates of Jannah (perfume, cologne, etc).​

​

We fast with our hands-​

Give zakat for those who cannot feed themselves.​

​

We fast with our souls-​

Keep away from those who commit fitnah.​

​

We fast with our eyes-​

Lower the gaze and refrain from obscene scenery!!​

When Breakfasting:​

​

We break with our tongue-​

And speak only well of everyone​

​

We break with our ears-​

Listen only what is beneficial to you​

​

We break with our stomach-​

Eat halal and feed the hungry​

​

We break with our hearts-​

Love those who have fasted with you and forgive those who need to be forgiven​

​

We break with our souls-​

Strengthen your iman through prayer, dhikr and du’a​

​

We break with our eyes-​

Read Quran and all that will increase your knowledge and wisdom​

​

We break with our minds-​

Memorize Quran and proper Islamic etiquette.​

​

We break with our voice-​

Recite Quran​

Ramadhan Mubarak!!!!​

​

May Allah bless all those fasting,​

May their fasting breaths carry them to the gates of Jannah,​

May their empty stomachs be filled with the bounties of Jannah,​

May the beauty of Jannah fulfill their gazes when they lower their gaze in this dunyaa,​

May beautiful music of paradise fill their ears when they refrain from backbiting, eavesdropping, and listening carelessly,​

And may their souls be carried to its highest of faiths ameeen!!!​

Make this Ramadhan more significant than the last . . . we are only growing closer to Qiyama.​
